Approve more of the applicants you turn away today

Cash flow underwriting reads the applicant’s own bank transactions into verified income, the obligations a bureau file never recorded, and the room left after them. That is what lets you approve credit-invisible applicants and price to proven capacity.

Categorized transactions that tell you what is actually coming in.

Each description and amount is read together, so every figure opens back to the transactions behind it and nothing reaches a credit decision you cannot explain.

Know what every line is, not just what it says

A lending-specific label, the everyday category under it, a risk indicator where one applies, and a direction. Money moving between the applicant’s own accounts counts as neither, so a transfer never inflates the income you are about to lend against.

See the debt a credit file never recorded

A payday loan, a payday advance, a BNPL plan and a cash advance app resolve to four different obligations rather than one bucket called debt, so a payment that never reached a bureau still comes out of what the applicant can afford.

No applicant falls out over a payer you have not seen

Payroll providers and gig platforms are recognized by name, government benefit sources are identified as such, and the rhythm of the deposits separates a repeating stream from a one-off. It runs on every analysis, with no manual review.

Lend against the income that actually repeats.

Read the methodology

One-time deposits, borrowed money and transfers between their own accounts all come out, and every removed row is named. What is left is what they can actually repay you from.

Structure the deal to a payment the applicant can carry.

An income figure becomes an approval when it becomes a payment, and the ratio is yours to set.

Adjusted monthly income$5,100
Payment-to-income cap15%Rent, into the ratio$1,100Detected loan payments$300
Maximum affordable monthly payment$765$600$5555,100 × 0.15(5,100 − 1,100) × 0.15(5,100 − 1,100 − 300) × 0.15

Ask the applicant for nothing extra

Rent and existing loan payments are read off the account rather than requested as a stip, and each one can be counted against the ratio or set aside.

Add what the account cannot see, and the ceiling moves with it

A payment you already know about is entered by hand and comes straight out of the same ratio as the rest.

Approve at a payment instead of down-selling the deal

A verified capacity figure is what lets you move the structure and keep the deal, rather than letting a decline stand.

Verify income on whatever the applicant can give you.

The same numbers come back whether they link an account or upload a statement, counted the way your own policy counts.

Beginning balance plus the inflows found, minus the outflows found, against the ending balance the statement reports, so the totals are provably the lines beneath them.

Count income the way your policy defines it

Which categories count is a policy decision, and the verified figure recomputes as that policy changes.

Approve on what the account shows, and price to it.

Bank statement underwriting returns the same figures on a file with no score as on a thick one, so an applicant the bureau cannot rank still arrives with income, obligations and residual your policy can act on.

Verified income and obligations are not only an approve or decline: the same figures can set the rate, the term and the limit the file clears at.

Questions about the numbers.

What a risk or data owner asks before putting a derived figure into a credit decision.

01How much bank history does an analysis need?

We look at up to 12 months, and we recalculate every figure for the last 3 and 6 months too, so a trend can’t hide inside a longer average. If you’ve only got a shorter history, we’ll still give you a figure, and a file with under a month of data just gets flagged instead of quietly averaged like it’s complete.

02Is an uploaded statement weaker than a live bank connection?

A live connection comes in already structured, so there’s nothing to extract. An uploaded statement gets read line by line, then checked against the balances it reports itself. That’s the step that makes the numbers we derive actually defensible. Either way, you end up with the same labels and categories.

03What does real-time income verification mean on an upload?

It means the labeling and the calculations happen right inside the analysis itself, not in some overnight batch or a queue waiting on a person. So you’ve got the figure while the deal’s still moving.

04Can transaction categorization be re-run on a corrected file?

Yes, send us the corrected file and we’ll run it fresh. The original run doesn’t get touched or overwritten; it just sits there alongside the new one, so you can compare what changed.

05What does our team receive from an analysis, and where?

The labeled ledger, the counted income with its breakdown, the obligations, and the affordability read. It all lands in the portal for your team, plus you can get it over the API or through signed webhooks into whatever system you’re already originating in.

Run it on loans you have already decided.

Send applications you have already made a call on. We label the transactions, derive the income and the payment they can afford, and set our result next to what actually happened.
